As a small town inn dealing almost exclusively with advance reservations, date changes and cancellations affect us significantly. The Hankinson Inn requires and appreciates a 48 hour notice of any change to your reservation. This would include (and is not limited to) a change of dates, change in number of nights, or cancellation. As long as notice is given within 48 hours by email lisa@hankinsoninn.com, or calling 701-640-9330 , the Hankinson Inn will refund you, less $25.00 processing fee per room. Without this notice, deposits are not returned.  If you have a block for multiple rooms, or the entire inn, we require at least 3 week notice of cancellation or date change.

Dogs are welcome with a $20.00 nonrefundable deposit and signed contract. See Pet Policy Page.

Check in Time is 4:00 pm. Check out is 11:00 am. Earlier check in time if possible, but extra fee may be charged.  Please notify us as soon as possible about early check in so we can make sure your room is ready for you!

Kitchenette means (no stove top) but has a fridge, microwave and some rooms have kitchen sinks. Coffee pots with coffee and cups and sugar and cream are in all rooms. No plates, silverware etc. are provided.

Additional charges may apply: Excessive cleaning charge, furniture and wall damage, early check-in,pets in room, and smoking in room.

North Dakota State Law PROHIBITS smoking (including the use of e-cigarettes) indoors and within 20 feet of an entrance or window N.D.C.C. 23-12-9 to 23-12-12.  A $400.00 fine will be charged to your reservation if smoking occurs at the Inn.
